So, you want to be a physician, pharmacist or dentist? Learn how at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Health Professions Career Awareness program for high school students on Wednesday, March 30th at LECOM's School of Dental Medicine (4800 Lakewood Ranch Blvd.)
The event is geared towards high school students to help answer their questions to better prepare them for entering college and
choosing medical school, dental school, pharmacy school and other health related professional schools (which includes veterinary schools).
Please feel free to pass this information on to others that you think would be interested in attending.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the program scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. Representatives from LECOM’s College of Medicine, School of Pharmacy and School of Dental Medicine will be on hand to give presentations and answer any questions students and parents may have.
From 6:30-7:30 p.m., there will be a panel of students representing all of LECOM’s schools to answer your questions about “what they did” and “wish they would have done” in high school to prepare for medical, pharmacy or dental school.
